The engine was designed for the sport touring market. It has an inline 3 cylinder configuration and variable valve technologies. It has 4 valves per cylinder, variable intake valve timing, and variable intake valve lifts. In this project, I was the group lead for the top end of the engine design and designed the components related to the cylinder head and variable valve timing.
